Revenant

Set in the Rocky Mountains in 1823, the story follows Hugh Glass, a highly respected tracker for the Rocky Mountain Fur Company. During a scouting mission, Glass is viciously mauled by a grizzly bear. Expecting him to die, two fellow trappers are left behind to care for him, but they ultimately abandon him, stealing his rifle and tools. Driven by an all-consuming desire for revenge, Glass miraculously survives and embarks on a brutal 3,000-mile journey across the harsh American wilderness to hunt down the men who betrayed him.
