The Rift Uprising

The story follows seventeen-year-old Ryn Whittaker, an elite, cybernetically enhanced soldier trained to guard a “Rift”—a volatile portal to alternate Earths. While trained to fight off any bizarre threats that cross over, her military conditioning is challenged when she meets a strange, ordinary boy from another timeline. His complex questions force her to wonder if everything she has been taught about her life and the danger of the Rifts is a complete lie.
