Aurora “Roe” Teagarden quits her librarian job after inheriting an unexpected legacy. Looking for a fresh start, she decides to try her hand at selling real estate—a field her mother excels in. However, during her very first house showing, Roe discovers the naked body of a rival broker in the master bedroom. When suspicion falls on one of her mother’s colleagues, Roe steps in to clear his name, only for a second body to appear in another property.
