Gods and Their Machines

The story follows Chamus Aranson, a trainee fighter pilot who makes an emergency landing deep in enemy territory. His survival relies heavily on Riadni, a local tomboy determined to become a soldier despite her country’s heavy oppression of women. Meanwhile, another countryman named Benyan prepares a martyrdom mission to kill Chamus’s grandfather. The narrative explores parallel perspectives of two opposing sides trapped in a brutal, continuous war.
