The Engagement

A dark and suspenseful psychological thriller. Liese Campbell, an architect working at her uncle’s real estate agency in Melbourne, begins a highly unconventional, transactional relationship with a wealthy prospective buyer named Alexander. When he invites her for a lavish weekend getaway at his remote, rural mansion, she accepts, assuming it is just a game where both players understand the rules. Instead, she finds herself trapped in an imposing house with a man who refuses to take “no” for an answer, blurring the lines between an exquisite dream and a living nightmare.
