Hazards of Time Travel

Set in a terrifyingly controlled future where challenging authority results in immediate erased existence, the story centers on a young, idealistic girl who steps out of line. Rather than executing her, the oppressive totalitarian regime punishes her through forced time travel, exiling her 80 years into the past to a small Midwestern town in 1959 Wisconsin. Undergoing compulsory “rehabilitation” in this deceptively tranquil era, she struggles with the weight of her erased identity until she meets a fellow exile. Their forbidden romance sparks dangerous questions about the true borders of her world, combining dark social commentary with a gripping psychological thriller.
