The Plea

Eddie Flynn is a former con artist turned defense attorney who finds himself backed into a dangerous corner. The FBI traps him into a corner by threatening to expose incriminating information about his wife unless he takes a high-profile murder case. Their goal is to force Eddie’s new client, wealthy businessman David Child, into a plea deal so he will testify against a heavily corrupt New York law firm. Although all the evidence points directly to David’s guilt, Eddie’s sharp instincts tell him the man is actually innocent. Stuck between the FBI’s relentless pressure, a dangerous criminal conspiracy, and the need to protect his wife, Eddie has to use every legal trick and old con-artist skill he has to expose the truth before time runs out.
