White Nights

Set against the backdrop of a Shetland midsummer—a time of year when the sun remains visible through the night—the story kicks off during an art exhibition opening when an unknown man breaks down, claiming he has completely lost his memory. Shortly after, Detective Jimmy Perez discovers the same stranger’s body hidden inside a local fishing shack. While it initially looks like a suicide, Perez quickly realizes he is tracking a meticulous murderer. As he digs into the tight-knit, secretive community, a second body turns up, forcing the investigator to unearth deeply buried secrets before the killer can strike again.
