Silver Skin

This story blends time-travel science fiction with ancient history. A teenage boy named Rab from a high-tech, overpopulated future is given a time-travel suit (his “silver skin”) for a history homework assignment. He intends to visit the 19th century, but a severe glitch throws him thousands of years further back into the late Stone Age, landing him injured and stranded in the Neolithic village of Skara Brae in Orkney, Scotland.
