The Wren Hunt

The story follows Wren Silke, a girl harboring a dangerous secret in a world divided by rival ancient magical factions. On the surface, her community forces her to participate in a cruel, annual winter game where powerful boys hunt her through the forest. If these boys, known as “Judges,” ever discover that Wren is actually an “Augur”—their sworn, ancestral enemy—the childhood game will instantly turn into a real execution.
