Sanctuary

Set in a contemporary, alternative world where witchcraft is legally recognized and practiced, the story takes place in the seemingly idyllic town of Sanctuary. The peace of this tight-knit community is shattered when a popular star athlete dies tragically during a high school house party, and a young local girl is accused of causing his death. What starts as a standard criminal investigation quickly turns toxic as fear, prejudice, and long-hidden secrets tear the town apart. The book explores how easily an modern, everyday society can descend into hysteria, transforming a complex murder mystery into a literal and figurative modern-day witch hunt.
