Spark (Separate components and all levels)

Spark by Express Publishing is a task-based, four-level English course for pre-teens and teenagers. It guides learners from Beginner (A1) to Intermediate (B1+) levels. The series focuses on developing all four language skills while integrating 21st-century communication and cultural awareness.

Course Levels
– Spark 1: CEFR Level A1
– Spark 2: CEFR Level A2
– Spark 3: CEFR Level B1
– Spark 4: CEFR Level B1+

Target Age
Designed primarily for middle school and early high school teenagers (ages 11–16). Selected adaptations are also available as “Spark Monstertrackers” for younger learners.

Core Components
The course relies on a robust set of print and digital materials to support both classroom and at-home learning:
– Student’s Book: Features theme-based modules with realistic dialogues, writing practice, and dedicated CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and Across Culture sections.
– Interactive eBook (ieBook): A digital self-study partner for students. It includes animated grammar presentations, vocabulary practice with audio, games, and interactive speaking/writing models for independent study.
– Workbook: Provides additional exercises to consolidate vocabulary and grammar learned in the Student’s Book.
– Grammar Book: A dedicated companion that breaks down grammar rules with clear explanations and practice exercises.
– Teacher’s Book (Interleaved): Includes the student book pages alongside teaching notes, answers, and extra tips.
– Teacher’s Resource Pack & Tests: Contains quizzes, module tests, and mid/end-of-year exams.
– Presentation Skills Booklet: Helps learners become effective public speakers and communicators.
– Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) Software: Digital classroom software that allows teachers to project lessons, play audio, and show animated content.
