Bareback

The story takes place in an alternate world where 99% of the population are werewolves. The remaining 1% of normal humans are known as “barebacks” and are treated as a despised underclass. The protagonist, Lola Galley, is a legal investigator tasked with handling the case of a werewolf who brutally attacked her friend, forcing her to navigate a rigid society dealing with issues of power, prejudice, and blame.
