Deadly Deceit

Senior Investigating Officer DCI Kate Daniels and her partner, DS Hank Gormley, are called to a catastrophic multi-vehicle collision on a rainy stretch of the A1 road in Northumberland. As the death toll rises from the chaotic wreckage, forensic evidence reveals a chilling truth: not everyone died from the impact of the crash itself. Concurrently, across town, a suspicious house fire leaves behind two charred corpses. While initially treated as separate incidents, Daniels soon uncovers a sinister web connecting the events, forcing her into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a calculating killer who is constantly one step ahead.
