Defy the Stars

Noemi Vidal is a young and fearless soldier fighting to protect her home planet, Genesis, a colony under attack from a dying Earth. During a surprise ambush, she crosses paths with Abel, a highly advanced, abandoned robotic mech warrior from Earth. Abel is programmed to obey her, but he is a unique prototype who has started to evolve beyond his coding, developing his own personality, emotions, and dreams. Together, they must navigate a dangerous galaxy, forcing Noemi to question whether a machine can have a soul, and if saving her world is worth sacrificing him.
