I Am Number Four

The story follows John Smith, an extraordinary teenager who appears normal but is actually one of nine alien children evacuated from the destroyed planet Lorien. Living in hiding on Earth, John must constantly move, alter his identity, and stay under the radar alongside his guardian, Henri, to escape a hostile alien race called the Mogadorians. These hunters are hunting down the survivors in a strict numerical sequence; the first three have already been killed, and John is Number Four. As John starts developing his superhuman powers (known as Legacies) and falls in love while hiding out in a small town in Ohio, he must choose between continuing to run or standing his ground to fight.
