Relics – The Edge

The book is the third installment in the Relics dark fantasy trilogy. It takes place in a world where a secret, highly illegal black market exists for trafficking mythological creatures and their body parts (known as “Relics” or “the Kin”).In this novel, protagonist Angela Gough is on the run in the United States. The plot centers around the resurfacing of Longford, a forgotten town that was intentionally flooded and turned into a reservoir forty years prior to contain a deadly, artificial disease outbreak. As the waters recede and expose the ruins, the infection wakes back up. Both humanity and factions of the Kin converge on the town, turning it into the focal point for a looming, all-out war between humans and mythological beings.
