The Burial Circle (The DI Wesley Peterson crime series)

When a harsh December storm uproots a tree on an isolated farm in Devon, it exposes a hidden human skeleton and an old rucksack. Detective Inspector Wesley Peterson is immediately drawn to the case, as the backpack matches the one carried by a young hitchhiker who vanished without a trace twelve years prior.
