The Poison Garden

The narrative kicks off with a horrific event: a mass poisoning within the compound leaves nearly one hundred cult members dead. Twenty-three-year-old Romy, who is heavily pregnant, is the only adult to emerge from the compound alive. Suddenly thrust into modern society—a place she has been conditioned to hate and fear—she must learn basic survival skills while hiding dark secrets of her own. As Romy attempts to build a safe life for her unborn child and reconnect with the outside family she never knew, the grim realities and psychological scars of her past slowly catch up with her.
