Tijuana Straits

The story is set along the volatile U.S.-Mexico border. Sam Fahey, a reclusive ex-con and former surfing legend who runs a worm farm, encounters Magdalena Rivera, a badly beaten Mexican environmental activist fleeing for her life. Against his better judgment, Fahey shelters her, drawing them both into a dangerous confrontation with corporate killers and the dark underbelly of the borderland culture.
