Grace in Winter

The story follows a weary mother named Grace who has spent years putting her life on hold to care for her highly volatile adult daughter, Leonie. When her ex-husband gifts them a winter cruise, she reluctantly accepts—unaware that his real intent is simply to keep Leonie away from his new family over Christmas. While on the ship, Leonie catches the eye of a struggling writer named Ben. As Ben tries to connect with the daughter, an unexpected emotional spark forms between Ben and Grace instead, forcing her to confront desires she thought were long dead. However, the vacation takes a dramatic turn when Leonie suddenly vanishes, throwing Grace’s world into chaos and reshaping her future forever.
