Near the Bone

The story follows a woman named Mattie who lives an isolated, captive life on a remote mountain with a deeply abusive man named William. Her fragile existence is shattered when she discovers a mutilated fox in the woods, signaling that an unknown, terrifying creature is stalking the area. When a group of strangers arrives to hunt the beast, Mattie finds herself trapped between the monster in the woods and the human monster inside her home.
