Tymes End

The story begins in the present day with Bibi, a restless adopted teenager who finds a rare sense of peace trespassing in the abandoned house. Her path crosses with Oliver, the home’s reluctant owner who wants to sell the estate to erase his family’s painful history. As the book transitions backward in time through the perspectives of Oliver as a child and eventually his grandfather in the 1930s, it peels back layers of dark family secrets. Readers uncover the toxic, manipulative grip that the estate’s original owner, an acclaimed author named H.J. Martin, held over everyone who crossed his threshold—revealing that the true terror of the house stems from deep-seated trauma and psychological control.
