Late Edition

In this installment of The Godmothers series, Teresa “Toots” Loudenberry and her tight-knit group of friends find themselves in the middle of unexpected chaos in Los Angeles. After a spooky séance implies that their friend Ida’s late husband was actually murdered, Toots decides the environment is getting a bit too intense and convinces the group to relocate to her historic hometown of Charleston. Meanwhile, another member of the circle, Mavis, begins behaving oddly—secretly mailing bulky packages while keeping her friends completely in the dark. Naturally, this loyal group of women refuses to leave any mystery unsolved or let a friend struggle alone, leading them into a charming blend of secrets, sisterhood, and amateur sleuthing.
