Back When We Were Grownups

The novel follows Rebecca Davitch, a 53-year-old widow who manages her late husband’s family business hosting parties at an old Baltimore row house. Following a chaotic family picnic, she experiences a mid-life identity crisis, realizing she has turned into “the wrong person.” The story centers on her journey to reconnect with her younger, more dignified college-aged self.
