The Swallows

Set within the seemingly pristine, traditional walls of the Stonebridge Academy boarding school, the story kicks off when a new teacher, Alexandra Witt, arrives and inadvertently sparks a massive culture clash. Upon uncovering a toxic, male-dominated social hierarchy—championed by a powerful group of popular male students and protected by institutional apathy—Ms. Witt empowers her female students to push back against the school’s persistent “boys will be boys” culture. What begins as a small spark of rebellion quickly escalates into a ruthless, all-out gender war involving vengeful seniors, quiet outcasts, and questionable faculty members. As dark secrets from a hidden student network known as the “Darkroom” come to light, the power struggle reaches fatal heights, exploring themes of institutional hypocrisy, revenge, and the dangerous price of breaking a long-held silence.
